Quality assurance

In the central laboratory, layer formation can be documented by means of the scanning electron microscope. The routine jobs also include preparing metallographic sections and examining them by means of a light-optical microscope. In addition, the central laboratory has the following pieces of equipment at its disposal: devices for salt-spray testing in accordance with DIN 50021, for Kesternich testing in accordance with DIN 50018 and for damp heat testing in accordance with DIN 50017. The Surface Finishing Division in Marktredwitz (OFTM) is currently building up its own laboratory. Further information on this topic and on quality assurance in general will be available here shortly.
